Dear Arizona Business and Industry Leader –
Sustaining a competitive labor environment with a quality workforce is a key element of Arizona’s economic success.  The Arizona Corporate Council on Veteran Careers (AZCCVC) is a free-standing alliance of companies founded in 2016 by APS and USAA, created to enhance veteran workforce development in Arizona.
Comprised of more 30 companies and organizations that employ veterans, the AZCCVC sponsored the launch of the CyberVetsUSA free training program for military members, veterans and their spouses earlier this year.  We work in collaboration with the Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services, the Arizona Coalition for Military Families, and other key stakeholders supporting the Arizona Roadmap to Veteran Employment.
Our latest effort is the attached Veteran Employee Resource Group guidebook , published just last week. The guidebook is designed to assist Arizona businesses in creating their own company-wide veteran affinity group to increase employee morale and retention. The AZCCVC is providing this guidebook to business and economic development organizations across Arizona, with the hope it can serve as a resource for your colleagues and members; please share with those who might benefit from it.
