Central Arizona College SBDC Welcomes Aaron Blau, EA, CPA, as New Business Counselor

Pinal County, Az. – The Central Arizona College Small Business Development Center (CAC SBDC) is pleased to announce the addition of Aaron Blau, EA, CPA, as its newest Business Counselor. With more than 20 years of experience as a small business owner, business consultant, educator, and licensed tax professional, Aaron brings a unique blend of strategic insight, financial acumen, and educational leadership to the CAC SBDC team.
 
Aaron’s professional background includes serving as President of The Blau Company, Ltd., a CPA firm specializing in tax compliance and business strategy for over 400 clients, and most recently as Director of Training and Technology at Red Rock Accounting Group. His work has centered on empowering entrepreneurs with tools, systems, and education to support sustainable growth.
 
For the past several years, Aaron also taught accounting, business law, and business communications at Chandler-Gilbert Community College. In addition to integrating real-world experience into his curriculum, Aaron advised the college’s award-winning DECA chapter, helping students explore entrepreneurship, marketing, and finance through competition and collaboration.
 
“Aaron’s deep knowledge of business ownership and experience advising small and closely held businesses, combined with his passion for teaching and mentoring, make him an ideal fit for our mission at The Central Arizona College Small Business Development Center,” said Kevin Connors, Director of The CAC SBDC. “He understands the challenges local entrepreneurs face and brings a practical, client-focused approach that will benefit our community greatly.”
 
Aaron holds credentials as both a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Enrolled Agent (EA) and has received national recognition for his leadership in the accounting profession, including multiple Sun Devil 100 Awards from ASU and the Emerging Leader Award from the National Association of Enrolled Agents.
 
In his new role, Aaron will provide one-on-one counseling to entrepreneurs and small business owners throughout Pinal County, assisting with business planning, financial analysis, marketing strategies, access to capital, and much more, all at NO COST to CAC SBDC clients.
