Central Arizona College to Hold “Walk the Land” Celebration on November 17, 2025

PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. – In honor of Native American Heritage Month, Central Arizona College will host their annual “Walk the Land” celebration on Mon., November 17, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Signal Peak Campus (8470 N Overfield Rd., Coolidge, AZ 85128.) The program will begin at the I building outdoor plaza/cafeteria.
 
The “Walk the Land” celebration will acknowledge the Indigenous community’s important contributions while celebrating and honoring their diverse cultures, traditions and histories. Following a welcome and reading of the Land Acknowledgement, there will be a celebration and blessing, a presentation by the Basket Dance Performance Group and a “Walk the Land” self-guided cultural tour. The event will conclude with a culturally inspired lunch and keynote speaker.
