Central Arizona College Math Department Announces Middle School Math Contest Winners

PINAL COUNTY, AZ – After two years of conducting virtual contests, Central Arizona College’s Math Department hosted the 17th Annual Pinal County Middle School Math Contest at the Signal Peak Campus. Eleven middle schools from across Pinal County, from Superior to Maricopa, brought students to compete in both Individual and Team competitions. In total, 110 students participated.
Congratulations is extended to the following winners:
Team competition:
1st place: Zane Noga & Jenesis Arias, Circle Cross
2nd place: Emma Brighton & Victoria Peterson, JO Combs
3rd place: Marc Duverson & Makai Mallory, Skyline Ranch
Individual Competition:
Mathlete of the year: Madison Faulkner, Circle Cross Ranch
2nd place: Julian Soto, Skyline Ranch
3rd place: Wyatt Schapp, JO Combs
Overall School awards:
1st place: Circle Cross Ranch
2nd place: JO Combs
3rd place: Desert Winds
