The tale begins at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu. When their host turns up dead, they all become suspects. Led by Wadsworth – the butler - Miss Scarlett, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock, and Colonel Mustard race to find the killer as the body count stacks up. Directed by Casey Hushion, the play broke all box office records during its regional premiere at Cleveland Playhouse, its West Coast premiere at La Mirada Playhouse, and its East Coast premiere at Paper Mill Playhouse where the NY TIMES called it “a welcome throwback to an era of physical comedy!” About ACT 1: Arizona Community Theatre (ACT 1) is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to bringing theatre arts to the community of Pinal County, Arizona. We are a small community theatre and arts education group located in Coolidge, AZ. We believe in the importance of learning performing skills and having the opportunity to express them on stage in live performances to enrich the lives of our community members. Our youth theater program provides opportunities for kids ages 7 - 18 to explore the performing arts. We provide opportunities through performances, productions, camps, classes, and workshops. Our community theater program provides opportunities for adults ages 18+ to participate in the performing arts through performances. Our adult program is dedicated to supporting the overall mission of engaging the youth program participants in performing arts. We believe theatrical performing arts to be beneficial to improving self-confidence, memorization skills, communication skills, study skills, social awareness, and so much more.
