16th Annual Resource Roundup
The Annual Resource Roundup is a collaborative event that brings together members of the human services community, municipal agencies, and the faith-based community to share information on the latest programs and services supporting low-income and vulnerable populations in Pinal County.
The event provides frontline staff with valuable opportunities to learn, exchange ideas, and build relationships with partner agencies across the community.
The primary goal of the Resource Roundup is to deliver the most current information available while energizing and strengthening the men and women who work daily with individuals and families facing difficult and often urgent circumstances. The event features an open session with topics focused on key service areas, mental health awareness, discussion on Fentanyl and Reengaging in Society, Self Care and Fraud and Illicit Finance. In previous years, topics have also addressed safety net services such as emergency financial assistance, job services, and workforce investment programs.
The Resource Roundup planning committee is spearheaded by Community Action Human Resources Agency (CAHRA) and includes representatives from collaborating partner agencies including Sun Life Health, United Way of Pinal County, Central Arizona Aging, Pinal County Public Health Services, and Pinal County Attorney's Office. A strong and committed planning committee is essential to ensure effective coordination, timely preparation, and overall event success.
CAHRA serves as the lead agency for the Resource Roundup in Pinal County. As the lead agency, CAHRA provides the staffing and administrative support necessary to coordinate all aspects of planning and implementation. Responsibilities include organizing core planning meetings, developing agendas, distributing meeting notices and materials, preparing the program, coordinating vendor communications, managing registrations, and overseeing marketing efforts. CAHRA also acts as the fiscal agent for the event, receiving donations and registration fees and paying all associated expenses.
